Annamaria Ajmone
Dancer and coreographer. The body intended as a mouldable and changeable material, capable of transforming spaces into places, is at the centre of her research. Annamaria Ajmone has presented her work in numerous performing art festivals, museums, art galleries and atypical spaces. She coordinates Nobody’s Business for Italy, an open-source platform for sharing artistic practices. For 2019-21, she is associated artist of Triennale Milano Teatro.
Annamaria Ajmone’s workshop places the body and movement within the Alpine surroundings. Following a series of exercises to activate the body and perception, attention then shifts to the landscape beyond the PVC walls of the MUSE canopy that shelters us due to the rain. The shared questions: are what to look at, how to move within that landscape, and how to construct a dramaturgy of movements. Participants are invited to divide into groups and create a series of small dramaturgies within the Alpine Botanical Garden of Viote (TN).
