Studio Folder

Founded by Marco Ferrari and Elisa Pasqual, the studio’s work spans between the cultural and commercial domains and the investigation of autonomous research paths, while working through a diverse range of outcomes-from data visualisation to the design of exhibitions, editorial products and digital platforms

Marco Ferrari of Studio Folder presents the publication A Moving Border – Alpine Cartographies of Climate Change.
Starting from the book, the conversation reflects on how borders are both material and imagined, and on the ways in which global warming challenges Western conceptions of territory. The publication also offers a model of spatial intervention in a world in which ecological processes are bound to dominate geopolitical questions.

The talk was part of the Public Programme 2021, the cycle of public events of the Nomadic School, and took place on the morning of 29 August at the Terrazza delle Stelle in Viote, Monte Bondone.
