To Fawn The Faun | Maria Isidora Vincentelli

In this workshop Maria Isidora Vincentelli shares her physical practice and the performance research she is working on during the residency.
She offers a techniqual class of embodied voice practice and dance improvisation as a way into exploration of two characters, two energies: Pan; who represents enchantment, wildness and resonance, and The Fawn; who symbolises compliance, transaction, and politeness.

The workshop is part of the February 2026 Nomadic Residency: during this residency, Isidora will continue her research on To Faun The Fawn, using writing and physical practices to develop a critical and creative essay on the subject.
